I'd LOVE to compete in this, shame it's invite only and limited to 10 riders.

It's interesting to me that even though the course is one of the biggest of the year, most of the riders seem to be on hardtails. If this was a dirt course, I'd expect to see everyone on short-travel fullys, I guess the snow must have some give to it.

Hey, I guess you deleted your facebook or something, but what's that place with the slopestyle course you said you've been building at, and MIke Montgomery comes and rides it?

@James, that's my problem, I only ever land on my face :P

Cause I have opinions. I guess you're referring to the GT Athetron thing...I have no clue, I didn't say anything wrong lol

I agree with it being used mainly for trials, as they already have the urge-o-matic thingy for enduro and AM use, which offers basically the same coverage. Troy Lee also makes a 3/4 helmet and a couple of my friends use them for dirtjumping...and I ridicule them endless for it. It just makes NO sense to me, weight of a full face but no protection for your face? I also never really understood the whole thing about fullface's being hot and uncomfortable...I only own a fullface, and never wish for anything lighter or cooler... But that being said, it's great to see new products introduced into the market, perhaps it'll find a niche somewhere...but for me, it should stay in the 70's. (It should also be mentioned that most of them in the 70s required a mouthgard or came with a small faceplate attachement thing, ever see Joe Kid on a Sting Ray?

Also, it sounds like Gee didn't like the commencal's all that much...

Those are some of the best pictures I've seen, from a strictly photographer standpoint. Seen way better riding, but the quality is unreal, especially that last sunset shot, insane!

I'm getting neg proped for pointing out that I think it's ironic that PB is supporting low quality videos when they are constantly rejecting low quality videos? Pinkbike users are an interesting bunch.

I didn't make my last edit haha, but it's been getting good feedback. But believe me, I understand that. I just need a good filmer. My dad usually does all of mine, if I could just film myself, It would probably turn out a lot better...I get what you're saying, but I have no way of making that happening. I just feel like videos should be judged on the quality of riding alone, especially on a bike website.
suicidedownhiller commented under mattwragg's blog ( Jan 19, 2012 at 11:41 )
You misunderstood me apparently...My point is that pinkbike is endorsing a low quality video, and making low quality videos, even though they constant reject my stories for the front page, not VOD or anything, "only" because of the video quality...The message I've always got [in my experience] is either you have a $2,000+ camera, or GTFO. Just an unexpected message to see from PB, is all. They're actually supporting the riders who aren't rich and don't have a high quality camera, shocking to me at least.

Hey, uh...So...Get out there and make something, yeah? Why is then, that every video I make and submit to PB for the home page, gets rejected or criticized for not being high enough quality? You say the riding is great, but the video quality is too poor...Ironic.

Yeah, she felt bad that I was once again with no frame. I was going to just buy a DMR or something to get me by until I could get a new one from Duncon, but she wanted me to get something I wanted rather than just something some one else offers. I got three sessions in on it before I blew my knee out.

Haha, right on! The cool thing is..... My girlfriend bought me the Stout frame. I had it made with the same specs and geo as the Proto Pussy Street is supposed to be. Just wwaiting to get my hands on it. I hope they are getting everything sorted out over there.
